The Debut Album From Ruben Arthur Cordova and Chris Montoya's beloved band The Obsidian Geckos, RELEASED IN 2000.

The Album is a mash-up of different styles and genres.

Four kids buy a digital recoding system and start recording! Mistakes made, bad pitch, funky timing and strange production values. But somehow we managed to use it as a stepping stone, a catalyst if you will, to better music, and better arrangements. This is where it all began....

A veteran on the ABQ music scene, Ruben began playing piano & guitar at the age of 7 at the behest of his mother. Influenced by the Beatles, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac & Prince. Later Joining and leading several bands, Ruben spent 15 years playing original music until 2008 quitting music entirely to follow Christ. 2010 he returned to making music with a focus on his beliefs & a love for God. ... more
